SpaceX is partnering with Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC) to launch a small advertisement satellite into space that will have a screen on one side where people and companies can bid to have their logos and advertisements displayed on a space billboard. And Elon Musk moves one step closer to his goal of p-ssing off every astronomer in the world.

After seeing a Facebook post offering a very unusual striped rabbit for sale, Fauna & Flora International (FFI) and Kerinci Seblat National Park authorities tracked down the would-be seller and rescued the Sumatran striped rabbit — a rare species from Indonesia on the brink of extinction. If those are racing stripes, they may want to look for a missing tortoise too.

Hollywood insiders repot that Vin Diesel is considering time travel as the major plot twist in the next film in his Fast & Furious series. It’s too bad this will only be a movie because if there’s anyone who would bring back cars and clear photos from the future, it would be Dominic Toretto.

NASA’s Perseverance rover used its 7-foot-long (2-meter-long) robotic arm with a hollow coring bit and a percussive drill at the end to drill into the Martian surface and fill a sample tube with rocks, but later analysis showed the tube to be empty. This is what happens when the tightwads in Congress say there’s no money in the budget for space dentists.

Now that founder Richard Branson has made a trip to near space, Virgin Galactic is raising the price of upcoming trip from $250,000 to $450,000 and up per seat. It’s so expensive, the only carry-on allowed is a credit card.

If you fancy yourself as being a huge fan of Coca Cola, this place is for you — Lagoa da Araraquara in Rio Grande del Norte, Brazil, is the same color as the popular soft drink due to its unusual concentration of iodine and iron. There’s no fizz, so if you feel bubbles rising — they’re yours.

Scientists studying concrete discovered the common bacteria living in the most common building material are Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, and Actinobacteria, and they suspect the bacteria feed on the dead bodies of other microbes and possibly go dormant when the food runs out, waking up after it rains. Does this mean it’s now a compliment to say someone is thick as a brick?

An artist’s rendering of two of SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft passing fuel from one to the other looks suspiciously like they’re having sex, but the image got the approval of Elon Musk on Twitter. Would he approve of a Starship refueling one of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin spacecraft or is that just too kinky even for Elon?

The U.S. Navy caused a second 3.9 earthquake off the Florida coast in just a few months as part of an “experimental explosion” to “shock test” the USS Gerald R. Ford, the biggest and most expensive aircraft carrier in US history. Or are they attempting to shock-and-awe alien bases launching unidentified submerged objects? (Asking for a conspiracy theory friend.)

A mysterious plane – a Gulfstream IV with tail number N515JA – has returned to Ypsilanti, Michigan, and is flying around but no one seems to know who owns it or what its purpose is, although one report suspects it is a Gulfstream IV specially modified to simulate airborne threats and train crew to “counter potential enemy Electronic Warfare (EW) and Electronic Attack (EA) operations in today’s Electronic Combat (EC) environment.” The nearest country to Ypsilanti is Canada – are they beefing up their border security, eh?
