An issue with the X-Class's owner's manual has forced Mercedes-Benz to recall its dual-cab contender.
Mercedes-Benz has recalled the 2018 and 2019 X-Class over concerns about incorrect information in their owner's manual.
According to the company, the ute's maximum permissible roof load is incorrectly stated, the ESP function is "incorrectly stated for certain circumstances and some warning messages that may be displayed" for the Pre Safe system.
Mercedes-Benz says incorrect or missing information could increase the risk of an accident.
A total of 5607 utes are included in the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
Mercedes-Benz will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a fix.
